Larry Hughes sucks

Missed that WIDE open 7 foot shot with a couple seconds remaining. I would have made that 9 out of 10 times, I dont care what the situation is. If I owned the team I wouldnt pay him for this game. Lebron didnt help the situation either, poor kid everyone's dubbing him as a choker and it may be getting to him. He needs to overcome this, he is the King.

Cavs need a new coach. That guy has no idea what he's doing.

Foul or no, he forced the play and I agree that it looks like he is having a hard time. Definitely part of the blame needs to be placed with the coach, one for that play call and two for not being as aggressive in the second half. The Cavs could and probably should be going home 1-1, maybe even 2-0.

There are no plays in the NBA that work.

He has one all star, a couple of role players, no one that can create their own shot, not much rebounding, no offense off the bench except a stand still 6'11' guy and he is two tough plays away from being up 2-0 on the road in the conference finals. He probably should get coach of the year.

Actually the players only get paid their salaries for the regular season. I dont understand why he felt the need to fade away on a 7 footer.

Yeah 12 point lead at the half and he decides to get Z involved. Lebron only takes 8 shots. Real good coaching.

Yes but they get some cash for winning playoff series.
Detroit looks to be just messin around with the Cavs and getting away with it.

But there are themes.

Into Duncan, no double team, make it happen by getting the hell away from him or cutting hard to the basket. Into Duncan, double team, kick it out.

Parker go to the hole. If they give you room, 17 foot jumper.

Ginobilli with 23 or less in a quarter. Clear out, let him go to the hole, get set for a kick out three.

And OMG the absolutely beautiful team defense. The switching is incredible. I dont have a clue as to how they are able to coordinate this so well.

He does not really have much to work with. Perhaps you missed the 2 guys coming over to help on Lebron?

There are no plays in the NBA. Why is that so hard to understand? There is 20 seconds left on the clock. You isolate and look to kick out if they double. Execution is the problem. They got good penetration and missed an easy followup shot. What play would you have called? Who's number would you have called out?

Cleveland is a bad matchup for Detroit. Pistons are 2 wide open, missed shots from being in real trouble. They actually match up better against San Antonio.

Last I looked Clevelands three similar players for Duncan, Parker, and Ginobilli are named Ilguagkas, Snow, and Pavolvich. How is that for a theme?

And really Hoss, how can one not like an organization that has done what the Spurs have. We got lucky with lottery picks, and surrounded the players(Robinson and Duncan) with a good organization and teammates.

Note: Steven Jackson was a Spur who people really liked as a player but the organization knew off some tendencies the fans did not. I could not believe we let the guy go. This has happened a number of times before, Alvin Robertson, Willie Anderson... and then one understands after they are gone.

I like Popovich. One, because he is a saavy people person. And two, because he is ugly.

Hossy...don't even try to argue with PeanutShell.

The guy is in love with THE CHOSEN ONE.

I've read what he's been saying and it's mekin' me SICK!! He doesn't even know what he's talking about!

I should have resisted as I told Steve I didn't want to cause him trouble so I would not say anything here anymore...so now I'm a BIG LIAH.

But it's not easy.

Better off not conversing with the guy.

I think he must write in asking for articles of James clothing.

God...I can't stand it.

What "play" would you call? Just give me an idea what you think they should have done? Cant you see that they have no one that can create thier own shot except Lebron? He passed off to a wide open guy in the corner the other day who missed. Did you like that one better? When you only have one real option what else could they do? They should have gotten a foul call and even without that they had a second, wide open look from 7 feet that they missed.
