Not to nitpick spelling, but the title of this thread is AWESOME.

Cool.
I do that all the time. With numbers also. Reversing. Get wrong numbers constantly.
Ber an jo. A musical instrument. Actually it looks even further off than that.

Anyways, I dont understand that ride...

10 pnt move up 05-19-2007 12:49 PM

that was a miserable decision......

ArlJim78 05-19-2007 12:54 PM

Borel has got all of them thinking "Rail"

PSH 05-19-2007 01:03 PM

Looked like

the horse was running a little green at the top of the stretch... don't agree with that decision when you have so much horse but maybe the fact that he was green and maybe not switching leads (don't know that) like Rafael wanted him too made him say **** it and he just went for the rail....

The Indomitable DrugS 05-19-2007 01:19 PM

There was nothing wrong with the ride...Southwestern Heat was getting out, Street Magican may have been getting in a little as well, the rail was open and was the best option for RB.

Camacho did all he could to make it as tight as possible for SM, in fact, I'm not so sure he'd have survived a claim of foul had Bejarno chickened out.

Be-jar-a-no, not Beranjo.

Read the 3rd post.
Thanks for making sure things stay clean.

And the ride, what did you think?

I didn't have a problem with it. It looked like the leader was drifting out, and I've seen jocks try to go outside of drifting horses and races because of it time and time again. I thought it was a good move, if a little risky.

Gary Stevens said the rail is dead. Maybe not at the time this race went. I am so used to seeing horses pass on the outside on dirt. It looked from the head on to be the wrong way to go... well before the bumping. The Kentucky Derby sky view would have been nice on this.

I have a hard time being a jock critic. It just looked very dangerous. Hooves certainly cannot put Bejarano in the same category as Albarado.
