Well that's better than being The Mayor of Munchkinland. I hope the Lollipop Guild vetoes this jackass into obscurity. Maybe he'll be sent to purgatory which will involve him reading the DRF next to Cigar's *******.

OMG, too damn funny Matt... lol lol lol (in memory of PG1985.)

Bailey's pomposity drips from every word he writes or utters on this, and most other, topics.. His failure to acknowledge the realities of Steve Wynn's intent in this endeavor is the critical mass in the depth of his eagnerness to shill for them..

F Bailey with a big wood spoon. I used to think he was ok but no more. Saw him in a restaurant parking lot a few weeks ago. Should have sent my wife to key his car.

I think I'm the only guy on here who likes Bailey.
He's the kind of guy I would want on my team, confident, knowledgeable, successful.

Statements without substance by Mr. Bailey

In fact, the Johnstons have pioneered safe and effective track operation and management, along with improvements in living and working conditions for the hard-working men and women on the backstretch

Someone want to check and see how many fire violations Balmoral Park, one of the Johnston's--"safe and effective track operations" have had in the past few years. Backstretch areas at both tracks, Balmoral and Maywood are runned down and in need of major repairs, from what I read on other forum boards, including horsemen who post on those boards.

Excelsior is the right choice for New York racing, for New York taxpayers, and for local communities alike.

JERRY BAILEY Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Nice of Mr. Bailey, a resident of Florida to know whats best for NY Racing and its taxpayers. Is that why Mr. Bailey resides in Florida a state who doesnt have a personal income tax.

Go sell some DVD's in Century Village to the seniors.

"To further augment our understanding and connection to New York horsemen, we have held several 'listening sessions' with breeders, trainers and jockeys to ensure that our proposal addresses the needs of each of those constituencies."

Sure would be nice if they were equally as concerned with "listening" to the fans...

"Flukey" Stokes... Chi-town legendary pimp, drug dealer from the 70-80's. His son, Willie the Wimp, was buried in a Cadillac (note avatar) and the subject/title of a classic Stevie R Vaughn song....

That casket, it looked like a fine Seville
He had a vanity license and a Cadillac grille
Willie was propped up in the driver's seat
He had diamonds on his fingers and a smile sweet
Fine red suit had the whole town talkin'
Talkin' 'bout Willie the Wimp and his Cadillac coffin
Willie the Wimp and his Cadillac coffin.

Too bad I left my Jerry Bailey Bobblehead on (what I thought was) his car.

I love him so much.
