Will they be off the turf tomorrow?
 
anyone have any thoughts on if they will take it off the turf tomorrow to try to save it for Sat?

In Southern California they make all early declarations available to the public the night before---and if the decision has already been made to take races off the turf, they'll let you know that as well.

No one seems to know anything that really matters....but hey, you really have to do give the press a ton of credit...as I've certainly enjoyed the multiple stories they've produced, profiling Bill Kaplan, who's won just a single race all year long...and am I sure glad I ever know the foaling date of every runner going in the Derby. Some real key valuable info there.

The press has done their typical marvelous job yet again this year.

:D ain't that the truth. you get 100 human interest stories, colors of the silks etc. but the stuff you really want to know you have a better chance finding out on a message board.
