The status of Half Ours and Wanderin Boy?

I realize they are cross entered---and my gut feeling tells me they will land in different races, more logically Wanderin Boy in the Alysheba and Half Ours in the sprint.

However, Pletcher did have 8 or 9 nominations for the Alysheba, and the fact that he only choose to enter Half Ours tells me he might have his heart (assuming he has one..and I doubt he does) set on routing this horse.

Thursday morning, both Zito and Pletcher were asked---and because they are trainers---they gave the following two gems

Pletcher: "I don't know"
Zito: "I still have a lot of time to make that decision don't I?"

But hey.....that's the kind of encite we've come to expect. Not that anyone should really ever care about the horseplayers or anything---but it is impossible to handicap these two races without knowing where each horse will go---as the pace dynamic of both races will be effected greatly based on the decisions made by the connections of these two horses. It also impacts a lot of decisions in multi-exotic win wagers.

Hopefully this will be cleared up by tonight---as for me, a good night of sleep might depend on it.

I spelled it wrong again actually....

Me thinks he was found to not have any swimmers and returned to the track. Maybe I'm wrong but I saw him entered at the Hill this week.
