Need info on dawn at the downs???
 
I was thinking of going tom. morning, all these years in the Ville and I have never been. What gate do you go in? What's the best time to go, how early? Etc, Etc.

All I can share from last year is when you see the track, the sights and sounds that is Churchil Downs as the sun comes up you will never forget.

Derby week last year, on Tuesday, I was in the house and will always relish that albeit for the short time. Only regret from last year was that we were not able to stay past the am hours but it was worth it.

Man, I have been to the downs many a time, but have never seen it like that. I will DO IT! I remember as a kid my 2nd cuz took me to the backside, he is a trainer, but I really don't remember, ya know.
