Anyone know anything about a Pleathcer 2yo Readys Image????? I know its early........

He should win easily on Thursday. I've heard him referred to as an absolute freak that should not lose as a 2 year old. I saw him train once at Keeneland and hearing the trainers and horsemen around was all the assurance I needed. He has developed very early and just is amazing to watch as a 2 year old. I'm taking all my derby money and putting it on him. If he loses, then I guess I'm sitting out the derby this year but it's really not something that I'm too worried about happening.

does he come from the scat/english channel connections??????

It's pretty rare when you see a nine horse graded stake race attract a field of six fillies and three colts. The fillies are quicker in their 2yo season this time of year though.

I pity anyone who intends to bet their entire bankroll on a short priced horse, going 5 furlongs, solely on the basis of backstretch hype and gossip.

I will obviously watch the odds and if they get too low then just pick 4's and pick 3's. I'm not betting just off gossip or hype. I have seen the horse work and race and coupled with some of the other things that I did hear (from reliable sources in the past), I feel as if he's a single in multirace wagers and will be a monster in his 2 year old season. He was truly something special to see run the couple of times that I have. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong but I think that he will be very tough to beat. I very rarely feel this strongly about a horse, so I don't want him to win and regret not playing him big.

did he even work at KEE? I know for a fact he worked at CD a couple times. This isn't PG1985 is it?

Look at the PP's - I have no idea where you're getting the impression that he didn't work at KEE.... there's two recorded workouts at Keeneland and he caught my eye in one of them and then I was more impressed when I saw him race. I'm just saying that I like the horse and I think he will be a star as a 2 year old, it's just a gut feeling after watching him. I personally have not seen many 2 year olds this young that appear to be this good. I very well could be wrong and most times I am, but I rarely am this impressed by a horse.

cool. i just know he worked out of the gate in 45/2 at CD prior to his KEE race. TP's assistant trainer told me they had him wrok at CD prior to that race specifically for this stake (formerly the WHAS), and that he would beat anything at KEE, but to unload on a baby who may or may not break, like the crowd, etc..is scary for me to think about. Good luck and I hope he wins for you.

He got smoked by a couple of fillies.

This time of year, when dealing with 2yo's, fillies are often quicker away from the gate, and really should have to give nothing away to their male counterparts.
