Tragedy strikes again.....

Very sad story, condolences to the Cards organization and the Hancock family :( . That's the second time a young Cardinal pitcher has been taken too soon, i'm sure you all recall Daryl Kile, Cardinal pitcher found dead in his hotel room a few years back. Omg, i believe that was in Chicago, this time it was same opponent scheduled, just in St. Louis this time, very, very sad:( . If i've got my facts wrong please correct me, but i do think both times the Cards were scheduled to play my Cubs? RIP

Yes, sadly, you are correct.

I lost all repect for this guy. He was drinking & driving and had a blood-alcohol level of.157 almost 2x over legal limit and also on a phone. Plus they found 8.5 grams of weed in his auto. Lucky this A-Hole ran into the back of a tow truck and he didn't kill any innocent people. Which was parked on the side of the road helping a person with a disabled car. He must have been weaving in and out on the hi-way. Three days earlier he got into another accident that he wasn't legally drunk , but was drinking before. Hopefully the Pro sports leagues will learn from this and make rules that will deter players from drinking heavily with suspensions and fines.

The hypocrisy in this country simply stands out and screams(sometimes.) Alcohol is totally legal(even though people who use it quite often can't avoid running their cars into still objects.)POT(on the other hand) is illegal.I am not gunna encourage anybody to smoke pot.I certainly can't use this drug, but what a backward bunch we are.........to keep the more harmful of the 2 drugs totally legal, and criminalize the other. Most every sporting event in the land sells some form of alcohol on the premises, but will arrest people who smoke pot at their event. We certainly have our favorite national drug.If you really look at it,seems very hypocritical.

Hancock's father losing his mind. Filed a suit against the restaraunt, which I can see doing. But to file a suit against the tow truck driver and the driver of the disable car for being parked on the side of the road. Saying if they weren't there his son will be still alive. This A-Hole is blaming everybody else and not his son who was an alcholic. Our judicial system at it's finest

Not our judicial system but our bar association.
