It would be interesting if someone knows how to pull up lastyear opinions about Barbaro,SNS and others lastyear. Im sure there was a garantee or 2 last year.

Most of those posts were made over at ESPN.

Yeah... I joined May 26th and I think I was part of the first wave of members.

I'll be the first to admit I was way off last year.
I did like Barbaro, but keying him in a trifecta with Point Determined and AP Warrior (on top of several others underneath) proved to be foolish.
I over-rated the west coast string last year.

We threw the switch on the free-standing URL version of DT about a week after last year's Preakness.. May 26th to be exact actually.. We had 100 members in 5 days and 500 by Saratoga. The passing of Lost in the Fog added more than 100 new members later on...

Bluegrass Rat screwed up my tri box. I couldn't stand how washy he looked in the post parade... turns out he ran his best races when he was washy. DOH!

I would like to credit myself with the first post ever.

We have been hearing that your Billy may be closer to Jean King than Donovan

There was some garantees made from a member that claimed to be part of Barbaro's team ( Quite, something I can't remeber now). He squashed all the talk about the lack of recent racing in Barbaros foundation and will win the Derby. I also recall someone on the other side saying the without recent racing Barbaro could win the Derby, but that effort will be the end to his career. Both were right and it really shows how hard the triple crown campain can be on these horses.
