Best of Luck, largo1! I assume you'll have some critters to "mow' that land?:)
|
well, then i wish you luck!!
|
Good luck Largo! I am jealous! I want to see pics when you get them. :)

Thanks for all the good wishes!!! I got the farm. Very exciting. The house needs a little bit of work, but not much. I will be re-fencing as soon as I close. I'm putting in Ramm vinyl fence, 3 rails of white down the long drive and across the front of the property. It will not only be very horse-safe, but also very "pretty"!!
Yaaahooooo!! I'm betting a Street Sense/No Biz exacta. Suzanne(NEW farm owner!!) |
Congrats largo1! Wishing you the best....now that you've bought the farm! No No...I mean...Hoping for the best for you!:)

Bravo for you!! good luck and enjoy it.

Congrats on getting it! Good luck to you and your horses. Have you thought of a stable name yet?

Hooray, largo; that's awesome. Please post pix when you have time to take them.

I am curious too. Got enough room to put in a couple of horse stalls and get some low-end starters at Beulah?

Hay thanks for all the good wishes, guys!! The farm is in Warsaw, Ohio, which is about 60 miles north of Columbus. Its actually in a *tiny* little town(I use that term loosely!) called West Bedford. West Bedford consists of exactly ONE building, a deli/bakery/general store with ONE gas pump. I will be building a 6 stall barn in August. I have 4 horses and all of mine will be turned out with a run-in shed 99% of the time, so I will be taking racehorse layups. Thought I'd try to advertise at Scioto Downs first; Standardbreds are easier to take care of then Thoroughbreds(at least that has been my experience)I will post some pix as soon as I can. I don't have my closing date yet and the people currently living there are being evicted and are not real happy about me hanging around. As soon as I close I will be having new fencing installed. Haven't picked a farm name yet. Was going to name it "Magnolia Farm", but then any endurance horses I raised and wanted to have my farm name would be "MF whatever". Thought about "Willow Tree Farm", but then they'd be "WTF whatever". Oh well, something(not x-rated) will come to me!!
Later, Suzanne(I had SS, but WTF happened to NoBiz?? No excuses there) |
