It's the only meet I made tons of money at. It feeds my Mountaineer
addiction

I just checked espn live racing..youbet.net...and xpress bet. None of them carry the feed. Was gonna download the PP's and follow along. Oh Well...good luck anyways bro.

Awesome!

This is my "home" track now (I live 4.5 hours away) and I've got to get it figured out... I'm going to watch how it plays this weekend and then I'll probably start playing with you... I love Katie Repp, she was at Bay Meadows for a while and did amazingly well - she's a pretty good jock (for a girl ;) ) and I hope she does well this meet.

I love how the EMD trainers bring horses down to NorCal and none of the locals bet them, so their odds are high and the horses WIN!!!

I've got respect for WA state horses...

Ya know what's funny? When I lived in Portland, I loved the Portland Meadows meet. The people walking around there could tell you the whole story of why I loved it -- stupid stupid money all the time.

Yet, I could never get a hold of the Emerald meet which in lots of ways is pretty similar. Whenever I would play it, it always seemed to play chalk chalk chalk no matter what I did or how I looked at races. I did go up there once, and it truly is a great facility given the quality of racing they provide. I was very impressed with the track.

Just F ing great my #5 horse wins the race, but interfers with my other horse #4 and gets taking down. They won't hold me done for that long.

Was there for a week, enjoyed it very much. You get a nice view of Mt. Ranier also. The Pick 3's and 4's pay great for some reason

DC, Met Katie at Philly Park when she rode there for a couple of months, She was a very polite young lady to talk to. I hope she does well at Emerald.

Aha! I didn't play multi-race wagers at that time, so that explains my disgust with it.

Portland Meadows (on a clear day) has a great view of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood to the North and Southeast. It's a stark comparison -- 2500N3L runners racing around a track surrounded by some of the most incredible views I've ever seen.

I was really impressed with EMD, very clean, plenty of monitors to see simulcast, nice seating area, open and nice paddock, and good beer on tap :D It actaully is a much nicer facility than the NorCal tracks...

I'm thinking about heading there for the Derby, will be going during this meet at some point for sure...

Brian, I survived on cheap claimers at Penn Nat for years, The only views at PN was fighter planes running training missions, dropping real live bombs on the mountain range just north of Penn during live racing action.

ha! i feel lucky to have spent three race meets at PM, in that case!

So may times that track was about the horse who could stand up the straightest being the most logical win bet. Form was good, but it really had to be factored into how the horse raced and how often -- a healthy, sound horse there is hard to come by.

I talked briefly with her when I was at EMD last June, told her I wished she was still riding at Bay Meadows - she said she wished she was too
