Showing Up in Maker's Mark on Friday at Keeneland

He should roll against those, but Kip Deville could be very tough at 8f. I will take Remarkable News though. Prado on Kip Deville makes him the horse to beat though, unless Showing Up doesn't need the race.

wow, that is probably going to be his biggest test yet outside of the Derby.

Bayeux is a nice horse, too.
And Kip Deville has really impressed me, improving a ton from the horse that went on that insane lead at Colonial last summer when Showing Up blew right by him.
Still, I think Showing Up is the class, and I'll expect him to win (although I won't be wagering on it).

As much as we all like complain about the lack of quality in some graded stakes, I have to say that this is a beautiful Grade II field, especially for this early in the year. It looks more like a Breeder's Cup prep.

kip deville is a nice horse but i cant see in any way how he'd be the horse to beat, i'd prefer even bayeux over him

I'm betting 100 win: Bayeux @5-1 50 ex box: Bayeux, Showing UP. this race sets up for a closer, and Tagg my not have him tight.

SOREHOOF 04-10-2007 10:16 PM

If they let Kipster get loose they might not reel him in at 8f.

He has been rating, and no one is getting loose in this race.

Everytime I see Old Dodge entered in one pf these I remember our S Amer poster alerting us to his ability. While he hasnt won a graded race that I can recall he has shown that he belongs.
