Super Saturday is Almost Here!!!

Well, if you compare the Kentucky Derby to the Presidential Election, tomorrow would be considered Super Saturday, and I cannot wait.

We may not have the Kentucky Derby winner running tomorrow, but between the Illinois Derby, the Santa Anita Derby, and the Wood, this weekend is going to be great, followed by next weekend....man, this is great.

If you don't have Derby fever now, you must not have a pulse...

I am so excited as well! So many great races to watch....I just love it!
It's going to be cold and snowy here in Colorado, so I am going to light a fire, drink some kahlua and coffees, and settle in with one hand on the remote between HRTV and TVG, and the other poised at my computer for wagering opportunities :D

Good luck, and have fun everyone! :)

And I will be at work, banning myself from DT once the races start so I don't know who wins until I go home :(

But then nothing like some whiskey and racing after work. It's win-win. Thankfully, if I get my new position it would be Monday-Friday, and I've never had a job with real weekends! I'm jealous of you guys!

Derby tickets came in the mail yesterday. Derby fever has officially started.

I cant seem to get excited for tomorrow's races. The Santa Anita Derby field is average, the Illinois Derby field is avg and the Wood has two horses. The 14th is going to be the day. The field in the Bluegrass has the potential to be one of the better fields that race has had in a very long time.

I am really looking forward to tomm. so many nice races. The card at AQ looks exellent. And Oaklawn too. Gooo Boboman!!

I'm off to Arkansas in a little under a week... will be my first time seeing the "Racing Festival of the South." I did see the selection show for the Apple Blossom and Oaklawn Handicap and they definitely need to hire some hotter chicks to hang the name cards.
