Which one will JR pick or which one will TP give to him? Where does Decarlo fit in? Does he just get the one that TP cant get a rider for or is he just gonna need a ticket to get in?

I haven't slept for days because i've been worried about this scenario. I'll be devastated if Chris DeCarlo doesn't get a derby mount.

There's been a few threads with this discussion. The possible unknowns with CQ can make jockey assignments a lot tougher to figure out.

I don't think DeCarlo automatically gets a mount because he's Pletcher go-to rider at Deleware or when all the main guys are unavailable or riding for him elsewhere.
There's plenty of upper echelon jocks that won't have a mount locked in, and will probably get the call before DeCarlo.

Maybe Pletcher will throw him a bone if someone like Cowtown Cat or Deadly Dealer makes the race.

i was surprised when decarlo tried arlington a few years ago and didnt get much of a shot here, even during arlington the colony isnt deep here anymore. the guy who i wanna see win a derby before he retires............tha guid!
