Many years ago we had a virgin fraternity brother who bought a cute little English Setter puppy, and began to walk her every evening in the spring of 1969. He got laid about 5 times in the first two weeks of ownership. I wonder if this theory still applies? By the way, I inherited the puppy later on, and it worked for me too. Glad my GF at the time never knew............
