Mile-Parole Board is a maybe, but it's hard to tell the class of horses who have only UAE races. Spring at Last has good form in 1-turn 7&8f races. (this is a 1-turn mile).
Derby-Day Pass run quite poorly in the Guineas, tried to keep up with Asiatic Boy and couldn't, fading badly. He's had his one off the layoff, but is facing an even tougher field. My banker is Eu Tambem; Godolphin bought him after he beat elders in his first Dubai start so that he wouldn't ruin the party in the World Cup. Put him here to guarantee a winner in blue on the night.
Sprint - I agree, Biship Court Hill could be the sleeper here. He went through a bad patch of form last summer, but has raced back to his best recently.
Sheema Classic - against the class of horse in here, I think Obrigado has no shot at 12f. Among the youngsters in here, Youmzain, Red Rocks, and Sir Percy are tons better than he is on class. Then there are the battle-hardened likes of Vengeance of Rain, Pop Rock, and the horse-for-course Quijano. The Cal-based turf horses are nowhere near as good as any of these.
Duty Free - Admire Moon, Daiwa Major and Pompeii Ruler are all top runners at the 8f-10f range, the only question being how they shipped. I love the Lava Dude but he has the same question with a bad shipping record, and at lower odds.
World Cup - I'm with you - Invasor all the way.
