Best pedigree info websites......

Looking to learn more about bloodlines, would appreciate some feedback on pedigree websites? The best ones? The ones to maybe avoid, if any? Thanks guys.:)

A basic site is: www.pedigreequery.com

The best free one is:

http://www.pedigreequery.com/

Careful though, anyone can add information to it.

Chef-de-race.com is interesting to read. Equineline is the best of the best but expensive.

www.pedigreepost.com used to be good but that website is gone.

George William Smith's newsletter is good, entertaining, and relatively inexpensive.

I love to see my buddies get business (Miles, George, Ann, etc.). Les couldn't keep up the fees for Pedigree Post since he retired. Somebody was writing about maybe reviving it but nothing has happened. I've had a few articles up there.

For a lark, look up the comments on Agua Caliente (the 1980 version, by Water Prince) at pedigreequery. Then compare his dam's pedigree to Ack Ack's.

Ann,

Nice!! From the looks of it, they would have made more on AC had they employed him as a trail horse to begin with!! :)
