Come one.....it's a dark day.

Any thoughts on where I should have lunch?

C'mon Jim, it's horse hookey Tuesday, get in the spirit.

Just go bet Lou O'Brien and you'll win at a 50% clip.

On occaison I love to dive into odd places like Fairmount. Its challenging and forces you to think outside the box. WAY outside.

You may be joking, but that's kinda how I view it. I see handicapping like a mental exercise and to stay fit you can't just do the same exercises every day. Its good to vary the routine in order to not get locked into certain mental patterns or ruts.

Thats how I view it, however i may be completely nuts too.:)

I couldn't agree more. I only play Tampa and Calder and took the Tampa meet off due to lack of time but I'm still putting in about two hours a day between watching races/replays and looking at the Form and making small wagers. I always look forward to the opening of Calder from a wagering standpoint and I wouldn't think of diving in at my usual wagering level without knowing what's been going on. Also, as important as the handicapping to me is the betting. Got to keep a little skin in the game to stay reasonably sharp.

Not me, I just throw enough **** at the walls and hopefully something sticks

Have you seen the bathrooms at Fairmount??? I think that's what a lot of people do... :p

You and I need to spend some time at the Calder meet... my fav place now (in South FLA) that GP looks like a carnival. I cant win there unless I look at the horses in the paddock. I won like 4 in a row.. granted they were all 1.10-1 but still, if you parlay your money you can win like $60!

Going to FL derby this saturday??

You guys talking about Calder made me think of the great Manhattan Clam Chowder at Calder. I was thinking about it the other day. I'll actually be there on Derby day placing my wagers and I'll have a bowl of the chowder. I'll put it up against any.
