Old Friends--Wallenda contest
 

Got an email newsletter today from Old Friends...they are sponsering a cool contest to get Wallenda home.

Your contributions for Wallenda’s return to the States have been outstanding. We thank each and every one of you for your help and support.
Megumi Igarashi of Narvick International, Japan has kindly sent us shoes worn by War Emblem. In order to raise more funds for our FLY WALLENDA HOME campaign, we’d like to offer a special package of one War Emblem shoe, a halter of your choice from an Old Friends horse and a lock of John Henry’s hair we had woven. The winner will also get their name engraved on a plaque in Wallenda’s paddock.

This package will be awarded to the person / group that raises the most money for Wallenda by March 19th at midnight. You can contribute through Paypal, check or a credit card.

Cot Campbell and Dogwood Stables are contributing a substantial amount toward the total of $58,000. but we are still short of our goal. If we can’t raise the funds this month we’ll have to wait until late summer to bring him home.
