How about the owners

We have always heard about trainers with a strong 3yr old barn going after the TC. Have we ever had an owner like Reddam. Multiple derby hopfuls. He even has a nice filly or two going after the Oaks. While his horses arent "cheap", he appears to have been very diligent in his purchases. Is Oneil hisjudge of horse flesh,or does he just get the colts?

Dennis O'Neil does most of their advising for blood-stock purchases and Reddham only buys horses that are proven.

He purchased two bad horses from Gary Contessa, Barcola and another who's name escapes me, recently off totally phony biased aided inner track wins. If that's diligent I would hate to see what recklessness is.

baseball players generally are below .500. nobody can get them all right.
reddam has done pretty well for himself fairly quickly. and unlike zayat (for example), seems in it for the thrill of racing his horses, rather than making the $$.
