Santa Anita - Sunday 2/18

Ok, I am over the pain of the very tough pk3 beat yesterday.

Race 1 - Antifreezette has been enfuago, moving up in class today to $20k and picking up 5 lbs and stuck in the 1 hole.....so you know where I am going with this right? This is a set up for a nice score, and any of these could win, except probably court seeker. Would go ALL here.

Race 2 - Not playing Gregs Gold no way no how. Diamond Fury looked super coming back off the shelf last race and should roll here, but will use either Booker or Barber with.

Race 3 - Mess of a race, as many of these came out of the same race where they all crashed into one another so it was difficult to see who was best, and the pp's and speed figs dont tell the story. Poule D'eau was probably much the best, after starting slow and making a BIG middle move only to get bumped twice by the DQ'd winner Silver Swallow. Chocolate Lave was stopped cold on the rail, and was going to be in the top two if it were not for that. Silver Swallow was moving down the lane and should appreciate the 7f here. Might add in the Baffert first timer Silver Agave in case the other three that all ran together just are not that good, as it wasnt necessarly a fast race.

Good cappin', rootdog.

That's what I get for using two horses with jockey's that probably live in a ****ing hostel and eat dog food.

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 02:39 PM

If speed holds that well in the second, then Diamond is winning by 3....

they are hammering th e 1/3 in the double pool. Looks like Chocolate Lava looks very live in the 7th...

Still shocked Gregs Gold is getting hammered like this, this has to be a prep and 6f isnt even his best distance.

Root, opens at 4/5, you think he is live? LOL

Coach Pants 02-18-2007 03:07 PM

I'd have better odds playing the lotto. The 4 had no chance of winning but that ride by Victor was god damn retarded.

Rootdog1 02-18-2007 03:11 PM

Boy, I was dead wrong. I still just dont get it, but I guess he was ready
