RIP Paul Allen
 

This is so sad. He was only 65.

Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft and owner of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers, has died from complications of non-Hodgkins lymphoma, his family announced. He was 65.

You need some prespective. What is sad is my wife's hairdresser’s husband dying at 35 with no insurance cause they couldnt afford it; leaving 2 kids and a wife who worked part time. A multi Billionaire diagnosed with cancer in 1982 and getting 36 more years? I’m sure he would have signed up for that in 1982.

He helped a lot of people in those 36 years. Elephants too.

I am not degrading his accomplishments just pointing out Ruperts need for prespective. By all means he was a great success and used his riches to help others. We should focus on the 36 year gift he was given and all the good that he accomplished during that time.
