It's not confusing if you read Dave Grening's article about Defiant Honor running.

Toner decided to enter him late and Jose was already committed. That's usually a version of the reason a rider supposedly takes off a horse.

She probably wasnt winning today, but right from the start was the plan for the 9? She is the only speed.

She was supposed to be on the lead and Juarez doesn't even try to get her there in a crawling pace and then inexplicably middle moves. Absolutely mind boggling, she had a shot on the front end but Juarez gave her absolutely zero shot with that ride.
