In the garden spot behind a hopeless long shot and a colt who really only came to hand when reformed as a late-running sprinter through absolutely pedestrian fractions while some more longshots and a Euro import who had issues dawdling in the back.

Are we even sure how much better Eskendereya was than Awesome Act this race, who was choked into submission?

He was a cinch triple crown winner. So yeah he was better then Awesome Act.

He was MANY lengths better than Awesome Act. MANY.

It was an awful triple crown, so he would have had a shot.
