Songbird

Earned my respect in defeat. She ran well.

King Glorious 11-04-2016 06:52 PM

Guess all the experts were right. She's not close to them on speed figures.

I am trying to think back in my mind of races when two champions hooked up at the quarter pole and ran like to the wire to be separated by a couple inches....its rare.

Beholder is so great, as good a filly as we have had around my time.

What a race! :tro::)

I was hoping for a dead heat. Neither one deserved to lose.

Reminded me of Sunday Silence/Easy Goer Preakness.

What race were you guys watching ? I can't believe there is not an uproar.

I can hear them in the New York henhouse cackling right now "oh songbird fails her biggest test" even though she actually won .she just had no excuse vs an over the hill beholder and we were right just like we always are

Made me think of Flanders and Serena's Song. Also, how Go for Wand and Bayakoa would have finished.

You're halfway right. The ones that couldn't just disagree with anyone that thought she was good but had to belittle and ridicule you along the way.....yes, they are having a laugh. But she didn't win.

Well.... The race wasn't fast and she did crawl up front. I believe she was 3rd best.
