A transfer of Rachel Alexandra would raise the possibility of the filly being supplemented for a $100,000 fee to the next jewel of the Triple Crown, the May 16 Preakness at Pimlico. The filly was not nominated to the Triple Crown, and her breeder and co-owner, Dolph Morrison, was adamant in the wake of her Oaks victory that she would not be supplemented to the Preakness or June 6 Belmont Stakes.

That would be pretty crappy.

I'm sorry but it would be way more fun to root for her while being trained by Wiggins and not the ASSMAN! :(

TVG reporting that Jess Jackson is negotiating to buy her for 10 million.

I was pulling for the Belmont....Preakness too early but she towers over the field. By the way, I am saying she is sold...Big news TBD

She is a special special filly. I almost couldn't believe my eyes last Friday- but $10 million is a LOT of money, more than any filly has ever sold for as far as I know.

thats a gamble... and it wont be much more than 10 mil anyway...
