Other than Voltairine's sesamoid injury, 2019 has been a very good year for the stable. KID CHOCOLATE closes out the barns action Monday after Belle's seasonal finale Sunday..

KID CHOCOLATE wrapped up Dee Tee's most successful season (38/4-4-5; $152,409) with a career best effort, a determined 3rd, beaten a length for all the money. Kid received a 58 Beyer for the try while wide throughout and getting over the wet track was a great sign for the rest of the winter, as was his stretching to 7f. The 1-2 finishers ran 1-2 all the way around the track.

Having endured 2 surgeries this year (ridgling/gelding work in February; tie-back procedure in May), today's run was quite gratifying. Diploma coming soon..
