Friday Aqueduct late pick 5
 

After seeing the carryover of $76 K , I was wondering why it was so small. They bet $289K in the early pick 5 but only $93K in the late ? Is this huge difference the same every day ?

The carryover was $79K, but yes, it's lower. I am guessing one reason is the overlap in these eight race cards. There is an overlap in nine race cards as well. Probably keeps it down a little. However, there is another much more significant reason. I'm honestly surprised more people don't notice this and look to take advantage.

I give Dan ( Alabama Stakes ) a hard time, but he seems to be one of the few to ever even bring this up.

That's news to me, tried to find some info on NYRA bets but it must be cryptic.
