ROI Results 2/20 @ Laurel
Laurel racetrack provided our group with a few winners and a pleasant diversion from the cold
and snowy weather that affected a number of our players. 4 tickets were cashed with only Cal missing out on some points. Cal cashed an exacta in race 6 but it wasn't enough to provide a profit. Digger started the afternoon in the cashiers line in race 1 and ended his day with a profit of $50. Cruzan punched his ticket to second place with a juicy place payout of $24.20 on Hibiscus Punch in the 7th race. When Hibiscus won Cruzan collected $302 bucks to easily Cruz into the number two spot. This weeks winner was Real Quiet who played a trifecta in race 5 and when 43-1 Artful Splatter easily held on for third the payout of $92 for each buck was more than enough to secure the win. Following are the unofficial results pending an audit. As for an odds and end recap Don will have to get his libations from a source other than Laurel. It was good to see him sitting on his balcony with Emma in more normal Texas weather. Joly B went 4 for 5 in his pick 5 at Laurel on one ticket. In baseball 4 for 5 is awesome, in horseracing not so much and as he stated it's tough to cover all the possibilities with our limited budget. NJS had a near miss with Estilo Talentoso in the 7th and a big whiff in the 9th. Hope to see you all next as we get back on the Derby Trail with a few races for 3 year olds. WIN...
