I'm digging Race Lens, especially the Research and Angles applications. Very cool that you can create and back test your own angles to see ROI.

For example, I have one angle that alerts me to 2yo freshman sires that I have been following (Creative Cause, MacLean's Music, Bodemeister, Dialed In, Americain) that has an ROI of 48%.

Only about 9 of the 40 pre-set angles have positive ROI, however. So I only activate those particular ones and keep the others on the sidelines. It's more productive to find your own angles by filtering the pre-set angles until you hit upon something meaty. It is not as extensive an angle-making tool as the HTR Robot (where you can construct spot plays from literally thousands of different variables), but Race Lens is quite user friendly.

The win probabilities and true odds are helpful when constructing multi-race tickets to check your % coverage in each leg.

The pace projection graphics help visualize the race shape to easily identify the early speed (similar to TimeformUS), but also provides a look at the pace projection for the middle of the race, rather than just the beginning.

I'm sure I've only scratched the surface on this tool and have signed up for an annual subscription. Others handicapping resources that I subscribe to such as TimeformUS and Betmix, are more "visual" than DRF Formulator, meaning there are color codes and graphics to help you assess the data. For me personally, this is more engaging and easier to navigate than the denser data format of Formulator. As my handicapping has evolved, I tend not to look much at Beyer ratings because I figure most of the betting public is using them and the tote board already reflects what the Beyers are saying.
