MILE NEWS: Hunt out, Divisidero in..

Two questions:

What to do with Selcourt? If she had run those races in August/September I’d imagine she’d go off the favorite. But they were back in March/February. Plus she drew the rail. I am leaning towards tossing her out completely but not sure what to do as she seems to be pretty talented.

And where is the pace in the Dirt Mile? Don’t the two favorites go out and run 1-2 all the way around the track? Or am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the Dirt Mile, treat any Sadler horse as radioactive. It's not just that his horses are 0-41 in the BC, they often have run up the track at short odds.

I'll bet Awesome Slew at big odds and hope the pace is as quick as it looks on paper. City of Light should be the favorite and I will use him as well.

I'd probably look at the 3yr olds if i wanted a price in that race. Bravazo and Seven Trumpets.

I’ve always liked big ears on a filly. First thing I look at.

Since i cant post in the selections thread.
Im betting West Coast to win.
Boxing 1,4,6,7,8 in everything. Exacta, tris and supers. Supers ill use those 5 1st and 2nd and use the 10,11 for 3rd and 4th.
Good luck boys

Not sure what was more painful to watch....Christophe Soumillon pounding the life out of Thunder Snow, or the fact that he didn’t switch to left hand to battle the winner on his outside. If I see him some day I will remember to mention it to the little sheet.

Kind of a rough day for Baffert...especially by his standards.

I have to admit it does not bother me that Baffert had a rough day-
I really like him, but it is nice to see other people win occasionally
