I learned something about the forward progress rule last night though. I didn’t think you could extend the ball and then intentionally pull the ball back to your body and get forward progress at the extension point. He was being driven back by the defenders so I guess that’s why it counted. I don’t really like the rule applying that way. That was a pretty critical challenge. |
