Fantasy Football Leagues I & II set up

OK, the 2006 Yahoo FFL registration is open so I set up the two HTH Leagues as promised! Both are restricted to 12 teams so sign up quickly to get a spot...folks are welcome to play in either or both! This year, Yahoo enables you to utilize an "express" set up, I was able to simply choose the same settings as last year's leagues and with a single click...done! So, same as last year, live draft was scheduled but can be changed (note: the latest time allowed so far at least is 4:45pm EST).
Here are the direct links, league ID's and passwords...join today!

You'll need to go here:

http://football.fantasysports.yahoo....ahoo&ovtac=PPC

Then select the harder to find free fantasy football section (avoiding the easy to locate pay section) and follow the prompts from there. The links you posted won't work until you have actually joined the league.

Somer: Post what date/times the live drafts are. That helps those of us who work to choose the league that best fits our schedules.

ESPN I.....Friday, August 25th at 4:45pm EST
ESPN II...Monday, August 28th at 4:45pm EST
Strangely, 4:45pm is the latest slot allowed, season starts September 7th.

League I drafts Friday 8-25 at 145pm PDT
League II drafts Monday 8-28 at 145pm PDT

A short request from a longtime FF player to my fellow boarders:

Ghost teams in fantasy leagues suck. Public leagues are notorious for having large groups of teams that are abandoned before the draft or shortly after the season starts. Semi-Public leagues like these are less likely to have large numbers of ghost teams but it still happens.

If you join please stick with it. If you aren't sure you want to manage a fantasy team throughout the season, leave room for someone who does. The downside for you if you abandon your team...

Okay. There isn't really one. I'll think bad thoughts about you though.

Don't be a doofus.

One last thing (heh...who am I kidding. I'll be posting more here than the paddock):

I joined League I. That means that if you want a chance to actually WIN a league you should try league II.

I'll be dominating the other one.
