Trying to handicap these races and a big question mark for me is the track condition. Given that Stronach will do whatever it takes to avoid bad PR, might we see a track similar to BC day where the front runners had an advantage?

The track received a cushion renovation 2 weeks ago designed to tighten the surface. Would expect the weather contributed to further tightening. Won't likely be old California 1:07 fast, but it won't be the ridiculous, torpid surface we saw in the fall.
