Scav 11-01-2013 05:16 PM

Its really a shame. Really dont understand why they HAVE to do this and its gonna get someone really hurt. (See first turn of dirt mile)

freddymo 11-01-2013 05:27 PM

It's embarrassing.

Exactly. I like Goldencents but that last race is just ridiculous. He couldnt have gone ANY faster for the first 4 furlongs and no one makes up any ground. Game is hard enough but this just makes people sour

Going to be a lot of pissed off owners and trainers.. Host site has an obligation to owners, trainers and bettors to create a fair environment. This is anything but fair.

It really is and they are talking about making it permanent there. What a joke.

Did the pk6 meet the guarantee?

I did not mind his ride. Whats amazing was his price. The Euros dominate this race every year..... I thought 9-2 would have been fair. I believe it was mentioned on the National Racing Report that his downfall could be that he has been a bit rank. Im not a Castellano fan, but he did nothing wrong. Why fight with the horse, I never understand that. I feel he gave the horse the best chance to win and was run down by 2 better horses.

As far as I can tell, it missed the guarantee by over 100k. ($891,012)

But the weather...I'd prefer Monmouth in the rain to this and I've bet all of 1 of these races so far.

It is currently 61 degrees in New York right now after hitting 70 today. There was a little rain this morning, but not enough to have affected taking races off the turf, particularly since this would have been Belmont's closing weekend if it was held here.

Yup. Beautiful. Was pushing my kid on the swing while the Marathon was going on.

Yes thank you. Too bad my year has been so shitty. Much more of the reason I am gun shy but the track condition is as good of a reason as any so I went with it.

You are disciplined. I wait all year for this and have done well the last 3 years. Today not so good but it only takes one swing of the bat.

Its called dependents...totally right by the way, you must be relatively new here.....In '05 I was down 3k before the Distaff. Bought an Acura TL off the lot after the race. One swing on Cup day is all you need.

Anyone here use capitalotb??? I just went into the new website for the first time and messed around with the extened account calculator and its 100% broken. It says I have bet $8900 this year and lost $8600, no shot.
