If you haven’t had the chance yet, take a look at Brice Blanc’s ride on Evening Sun in the SF Mile. Flawless.

Juan Hernandez’s ride on Stilleto Boy was very good too. He outbroke the favorite and as soon as he did he sent and at that point it was over. It’s subtle things like that, that makes certain riders successful.

I actually watched the SF Mile, excellent ride for sure even the TVG folks picked it up. Yesterday at Belmont Miss J McKay looked really formidable at 6 she was moving and the Clement Mdn Spl filly in the 4th cost 40k at auction she whipped two filly's that between them cost 2+ million and looked darn good to boot. Clement's barn is hot. Castellano seems trustworthy again

Actually, I would say much more than 2 million, as Flay's homebred is from a mare they paid over $1.5 for and I think RNA'd her for over $3.5.

That was an interesting example of how lower priced horses can compete. Turf, though, is obviously a bit of an evening factor.
