Mister Big done for 2008
 

Harness fans got a little bad new today. After an 8th place finish in the American National Finals on Nov 1 at Balmoral, trainer Virgil Morgan, Jr. has announced that Mister Big will quit training this year. Bloodwork has indicated that Mister Big is sick.

Pretty impressive year, though...

He earned $1.5 million in purses, which established a record for older pacers -- breaking his own mark of $1.3 million set in 2007.
