I have meetings in Baltimore on Thurs so I'll be stayin in town and heading to BES day at Pimlico. I have to fly back at 8 on Friday Night. I'd like to stick around till the Pimlico Special which goes off at ~6. Anybody from Balt. or experienced Pimlico fans recommend where to park BES day to make a quick getaway?

Is it possible to get to airport in an hour pn Friday night if I leave right after the race?

I've never had a problem getting out of any of the parking lots on BES Day. It is a great day to be there, but the weather is not looking good at this point.

Park in Rogers "R" lot. It's the quickest walk from the "C" entrance to your car on the above map.
Assuming you are returning a rental car here is the route with least resistance through city traffic.

Park at the track it was like 5 bucks a few years back..traffic was fine leaving....now Saturday is a whole nother story
