Country House gets post nine in star studded Risen Star on Saturday. Henley’s Joy tries the dirt for the first time in the race too. Big full field should mean value. Country House closed well against the bias and very slow pace to win easily completing her last 5/16 in under 30 seconds....you don’t see that very often. I remember Zenyatta doing it.:)

Im going to end all bets with him and Kingly Saturday. Going to try to find prices in the races before.

Perhaps Baffert was simply making use of shipping space while at the same time taking the opportunity to space out his 3yo colts. In addition, Santa Anita is requiring horsemen to obtain "approval" to ship out of town, so maybe he was testing the waters or playing chess with the racing office. |
Not remotely sold on Country House, but 20–1 line has me puzzled? Any thoughts?
