Ashleyluvssugar is better at middle distances than he is at marathons. He settles better and has a remarkable turn of foot.

Kenjisstorm should be closer to the pace this time 'round. With only Mr. Roary to contend with early, he should hold on for second.

Cat Burglar may give the big hoss a run for his money. He looks superduper.

LMAO what??? Cat Burglar???

The only horse who could've given Arrogate a challenge off the plane is someone like Midnight Storm.

Was at Del Mar for his first race.
The day before Jill invited my wife (and me) to the backside to see Game on Dude and others. Bob told me that Cat Burglar couldn't lose and to bet on him.
So I tell Tom (Scavs) and others to single him in multis and of course he goes off at even $ and runs midpack :D :o
Wild Dude actually won that race, he turned out ok.

I think Arrogate will probably win today.

isnt there something about grade 1 horses being in grade 2 races in comeback races...

maybe that was a long time ago kind of thing.

track is playing a little interesting compared to the first 3 days.

I was joking around. I think he is far and away the best we have. Much better then Gun Runner who has gotten great, says even more about how good Arrogate really is.
I could see him just cantering around today, never asked at all. Like when he won the allowance race before the Travers. Not the most visually impressive but a good comeback.

jeeesh...Baffert seemed like he was nervous in that interview. Pressure can do that I suppose.

No i mean like sad. I am sad. I almost teared up. Never felt like this before.
That was hard to watch. Im guessing he is retired within 48 hours.

Baffert/Smith did Del Mar a huge favor finishing fourth. They will both be rewarded at the Breeders Cup at Del Mar later this year.
