Am I losing it or did I not read an article late last year saying that Mo Tom was retired? Unless I'm more out of the loop than I had originally thought ( very possible ) !!

Mo Tom might be the only Uncle Mo male stakes winner from his first crop that isn't already retired.

As great as his start was at stud, with a phenomenal number of individuals (this side of Galileo and Tapit) that competed in the classics, one has to be concerned with the longevity of his progeny if they can barely limp their way to the end of their 3yo year.

Dont you think Nyquist could have completed at 4 if connections elected? Perhaps the rush too retire has more to do $ then soundness?

No. He was retired because of a "puffy" ankle.

The sad part is, despite all these Uncle Mo's retiring, the real 'Mo we would all prefer to retire is unfortunately still going strong.

No liver damage is going to slow you down.

You must be in too competitive a market. Try Venezuela or North Korea. If they don't want you there, you may have to resort to line breeding...

Or maybe an equipment change is in order. By the way, is Guest Suite a non-contender for the Derby being a gelding? I wonder what he did to be gelded, he has a strong bottom side.

Equipment change was circa 2005 which begs the question in 2017 which public bathrooms am I privy too?

He must have bit the Ambassador or perhaps they were concerned he might be competition for Mr Sekiguchi's mares

This Risen star is very wide open. Untrapped and Sorry Eric are nice price plays with big shots

A lot of pace here, I think shareholder value is worth a long look.

Local hero at 4-1 ml off a maiden romp vs. these seems pretty low.

Alabama Stakes 02-25-2017 01:10 PM

That maiden race was second faster than anything else has run there
