20cent Rainbow
 

Loved the 10 cent Rainbow, played it most weekends last 2 years. Hit it about 8 times, was 1 zig zag away from scooping 70K at Calder this summer.

Called Gulf last week to voice my displeasure with the minimum increase. Told them I was a couple hundred dollar weekend player and most action went to Gulf in their old Dec- APr season. Asked why did they change for Woodbine and not make Woodbine change. He responded its against their laws.
Pretty comical, anyways told them that most of my handle would be shifted to Oaklawn and got the smart ass"good luck there" response.

Despite what Andy, Wolff etc say, it was a good bet because payouts are the key. Dick Powell was the only one I've seen write about it and get it.

Looks like handle is down from last year. I just looked at this past weekend vs same weekend last year and looks like handle down 20% or so.

Hopefully they will reconsider otherwise I'll have to wait until at least March for Calder to get the carryover up to 25K to start playing there.
