I really wish they'd run Ben's Cat down-the-hill at SA. He might be a cut under true G1 turf sprinters, but I think he'd hold his own if given the chance.

If you are talking about the BC, I'm pretty sure they would have to supplement him. That's the hold-up. They have tried in the past to raise money to no avail.

Interesting I never thought of it like that. I always assumed they just liked getting all that restricted state-bred money vs softer competition as the reason they haven't been more ambitious with him

Why would connections of a horse who has earned them over 2 million on the track have to raise anything? Hasn't he paid (and earned) his way in by now?
