Lovely and VERY good filly with a nice back-story (cost $10k, bought by a couple who couldn't afford her, donates a portion of winnings to charity...) won't be worth betting her but in terms of sitting out a race and just watching?

Hope she continues her winning ways. :)

Looking at Man o' Bear and Tower of Texas in the Plate Trial...

If anyone thinks Casse having 7 of the 12 entries in the Alywow is good for racing I'd appreciate it if they'd explain their reasoning to me

Well said (... but in trying to find a positive, 7 tosses? :D).

Kinda like Cristina's Halo in that one. :$:

First explain to me how it is bad for racing. there not an entry and they're different owners. do you think he just entered all 7 without the owners knowing. the better question would have been why where only 5 others willing to run for a 100k on the turf going 6.5f. I can guarantee that Woodbine was tickled to death that he entered that many on one of there biggest days of the year. a 12 horses competitive field vs a 5 or 6 horse field. You make the call

Thanks for the reply......

I think there's a systemic problem when one trainer, albeit a terrific one, corners the market on the quality at a racetrack or tracks....I think it hurts the bettor, and if the bettor is hurt, the game disappears..

BTW...I found Oxley and Barber both with two horses entered uncoupled. That too hurts the bettor in my opinion as intent is difficult to judge.

Continued success to you!

Maybe Man Cave doesn't belong here in the Plate Trial...but at 35/1 I'm paying just in case he does

I hope Lexie Lou never sees another sprint race again in her career.
