With Wayne C entering a maiden for Donegal in the Illinois Derby, I gotta assume the Wests are calling the shots on Poker Player. I mean why would he wanna keep running the horse vs Solitary Ranger? With that pedigree I wanna see him get a dirt start. But I'm gonna give Poker Player another try. Just seemed like no one closed in the Spiral, so I'm wondering if the poly was kickin like van Dam that day?

Where does Global Strike end up? Here or in Ill Derby?

Both he and Dynamic Impact running in Chicago.

Good, I like Dynamic Impact in the Ill Derby, and I'm all over Supermonic in the Lexington. Mr. Speaker and Divine Oath are the ones to beat, especially the former off that monster work, but I have a real good feeling about TP running this guy off 6 days rest. He ran a great 8.5 panel work last weekend.

Thx Steve..............makes sense, appears the waters aren't quite as deep in Stickney. After Midnight Hawk, it seems fairly wide open.

Does anyone have Pletcher stats for less than a week layoff? I can't ever remember him running back as fast as Supermonic is today.

He ran one in the Ben Ali off 6 days too. Didn't work out for Supermonic, Mr. Speaker looked great.

I think he is really good, but he did get a dream run today.

Yeah, but the closing move in the Palm Beach over that turf combined with the monster work at KEE makes me feel like a fool for playing a/g him.
