Super Bowl will be......

Indy vs Bears

Indy will be a 4pt favorite in that game

Wrong on both. And if that were the game Indy would be 6 to 7 point favorite.

you think the Saints are going to beat the Bears in Chicago, not a chance.

While bias, I saw how happy they were to win that game, they are going to come out flat. (i know this is hard to believe, but it happened to the Bears last year)

Trust me Randall, the Bears were FOCUSED today, and if Moose catches that one ball, they win this game easy. I actually think they will beat the Saints by about 20 next week

The SAINTS looked the best of the four winners this weekend. I think Grossman implodes next week & costs "da" BEARS the game.
Who knows with the "Dolts" & "Pats", unfortunately it will probably be a victory be the "greatest football team" of the 2000's...yawn!
In ain't case, I'll be rooting for the SAINTS & what ever my squares numbers will be in my office pool. :D

Scavs they had no excuse for not blowing them out of the water today. None, that Seattle team is bad. N.O. is good and Chicago may have the most overrated defense in history. You can't have any faith in them next week. The game is down to almost a pickem in some places.

Hickory Hill Hoff 01-14-2007 08:17 PM

Either way, if the Colts or Pats win next week, the AFC will be at least a six point favorite in SB XLI.

As of 9.23 eastern Indy -3 Chi-2.5 o/u in Indy game is48 NL o/u on Chi game. I took over48. But as I have posted before never bet against Brady when the money is on the line. Good Luck KP

skippy3481 01-14-2007 08:56 PM

I'll bet against brady here. Colts will not lose.

timmgirvan 01-14-2007 08:57 PM

I gotta go with the Colts!

-Chicago's D is not playing at the levels it was earlier, injuries have hurt them across the defense and Grossman is going to win them a game. New Orleans has too many weapons at their disposal, and a little destiny sprinkled on them.

-New England is New England. Not flashy, not brilliant, but when the chips are down, no one is better than Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. Belichick is likely on the plane now on the way back to Boston breaking down Manning and Indy and cooking up something. Indy edged the Pats 27-20 in Foxboro this year in a game where the Pats gave the ball up 5 times. Wont happen again.

New Orleans vs New England

I like the way you think.

i understand alotta people want NO to win, i would too if they were playing anybody but us next week but they are NOT going to come in here and win. yes our defense isnt playing anywhere near their full capability but when you lose a guy like tommie harris youre not gonna be as strong as you previously were. lol most overrated defense ever huh randall? way wrong. the d coordinator ron rivera is whats overrated. if buddy ryan was runnin this d they would be alot more aggressive, thats riveras problem, too conservative. i think any team that hires him as a head coach right now would be making a serious mistake and theres teams interested in him again this year. lets also not forget mike brown is out as well

disappearingdan_akaplaya 01-14-2007 09:13 PM

also the D came up big on 3rd and 4th downs when it needed too today. briggs price just went up after today

I love you Playa, my favorite poster, bar none....Made a washed up Brett Farve look like Johnny Unitas two weeks ago.....Fact is, I don't really have a strong opinion on that game, but I wouldn't be playing the Bears with your money. And either way, the AFC wins the big dance.

Can I come?

pgardn 01-14-2007 09:17 PM

The best team is out of the playoffs.

So I will say the least likely team to not be in the big one is Chicago. Their defense is just not the same with that big kid from Oklahoma taking up 2 blockers for Urlacher to make plays. Tommy Harris was a monster.

Question is not that but rather

How much will the tickets cost - Goona roll if we can get them for $250 or less each

skippy3481 01-14-2007 09:20 PM

They are a great road team, but the colts wont lose here. Its in our dome, on our turf and we are the better team. NE is banged up on D. And the defense is actually not completely sucking. They don't have enough weapons to keep up with the colts.

Lets try and hook up - I'll holla later this week, keep logging in and check your pm's - I gotta get some sleep

skippy3481 01-14-2007 09:25 PM

Not at all, in fact in the clutch ill take brady, boy has the biggest nuts. But this is our game. Pats are just a great playoff team, no matter where they play. Colts + dome+ plus healthy D+ backup pats D= Colts win.

skippy3481 01-14-2007 09:28 PM

Curt will do, im working a good deal next week but pm me and well see what we can do.

Scav 01-14-2007 09:32 PM

I absolutely love the fact that the Bears are getting no respect. Fact is that this is the first real game they had to play in like 5 weeks, and not only that, but the first game where they got back all the nagging injuries. If they play like they played today, they win against N.O, and they go into the Super Bowl in PEAK form

ddthetide 01-14-2007 09:40 PM

NE-chicago. pats in a blowout.

Coach Pants 01-14-2007 09:43 PM

Bears - Colts

I'm not an expert like some.

skippy3481 01-14-2007 09:55 PM

Sorry i didn't intone what i meant. They are suited to play in a cold weather. Why they have been so solid in the playoffs. They are not suited to play in a track meet on the rca dome turf. Your right i did say that, but that was in reference to the weather. The pats are not a warm weather team.

You are a madman Scavs. Hope for bad weather and Drew Brees with frozen fingers. And Scavs I just cannot trust Grossman. I said this after the Bears 3rd game which I think was a good one for him.

Awful weather... and hope the Deuce coughs it up because he will be the best runningback on the field. In fact, McCallister is the best runningback left in the playoffs.

Furthermore, living in Chicago I have seen every move of this team, and this week, they were cautiously optimistic because of the last two debacles that we have had home-field, a HUGE relief from the players getting this first home playoff game out of the way.

Look for a HUGE performance next week

Duece sucks, the Bears D eats backs like him for dinner. Bush worries me though because of his pass ability

If you had Tommy Harris yes. Huge loss for that D. Bush on a bad field, advantage Barz. McCallister will do well in any conditions. And at QB we have a huge mismatch.

No mismatch. Tank Johnson is a 'notch' below Tommy, we don't lose THAT much, trust me. We needed a huge play today and he came through, along with our secondary....when we put the clamps down, we are fine.....
