Romo's Hold

Maybe a little less dating the entire state of Texas and a little more focus on football and your "Butterfingers" don't show up to lose your team the game.

Rand...that one killed em. Parcells probably not real pleased right now.

Hope your well bro.

Doin Fine Kev.

You can't make this stuff up. I mean they win the game and run the clock out if the first down holds up. They move the ball back. And the holder gets a perfect snap and he does that? Parcells last game I believe.

English Channel I presume?

Tired of losing wagers to my friends. Rather donate to charities this year.

Hickory Hill Hoff 01-06-2007 10:23 PM

1) Jessica Simpson 2) Carrie Underwood = 3) Butterfingers...
way to go Tony!

EC of course...in the UN @ Monmouth this summer:cool:

you given any thoughts as to when you will be in Toga this summer?

randallscott35 01-06-2007 10:26 PM

Usually first weekend. And then the 3rd week. I would gladly move my plans around if you'll tell me when you will be up there. I'd like to go twice as usual so when you find out, you should let me know.

Thinking of opening weekend as well...that is the last weekend in July, right?

Also still very seriously considering the BC as well, if the offer still stands.

I am a man of my word Kev. The offer will always stand. You have a spot in Casa Randall. Most likely will be in a condo by then. Also we should talk about that b/c I'm going to try and buy tickets to BC for nice seats at Monmouth.

The funniest thing about Romo is he's going to the Pro Bowl. Ironic.

lol
a little more finger exercising is necessary i suppose.

poor romo. poor cowboys....

lmao WAY TO GO SEATTLE. oh i hate the 'boys, so glad to see them go down in flames--and with a sure victory in their (slippery) grasp. ah, the irony.

Did anyone see the ball that was used on that play? It was the kicking ball, the Cowboys put into play. It looked like it had been sitting in water for the entire game. I'm not making excuses for Romo. He screwed up a perfect snap. To his credit, he was a foot or so from a first down and a yard from a touchdown. Oh well, from the way it looks, he has more than a couple of ladies to console him over the off season.

THAT ball did look like it came straght out of the box!

Hard to feel sorry for a guy who is dating Carrie Underwood.

blame the nfl for that ball. the teams are no longer allowed to switch to kicking and passing balls like they used to. the teams are also no longer allowed to use the balls in practice to brake them in.

pgardn 01-07-2007 09:09 PM

I thought it was a great tackle.
That had to be two of the worst playoff teams I have seen. The Giants made a much better show. The Cowboys were just absolutely inept. They basically scored one offensive touchdown against a defensive secondary that was pure patchwork.

I will admit I feel sorry for Romo, but not the Cowboys. I love it when Jerry Jones loses. Jones and his best owner friend Al Davis, had great years. These owners that stick their nose into everything. Jones says he wants Parcells and Owens back. What are the chances of that happening? Owens is part of the reason Parcells feels so worn out. All Parcells basically said is we got a great effort out of our young players. That is not the Parcells I know... the bottom line is to win, even if you have to nail a players head to the ground.

Now I hope they both comeback so Jones can suffer a little more, his face lift already fell off. I expect a few more years like this and he will be the white Michael Jackson. Cept he will continue trying to hump his cheerleaders... poor old horny fart.

pgardn 01-07-2007 10:38 PM

Here come the crybabies..

Sports guy here claims Witten made the first down and it never should have come down to a field goal as the Cowboys would have scored. What can I say about Cowboy fans.

Big Babies. Your team is bad. They need to get better. Happy viewing from the couch.

i was hoping for something, ANYTHING, to keep the 'boys from winning. i was thrilled, screaming and hollering when romo flubbed the hold. and then he just knew he was going to be a hero and get a TD.

priceless, absolutely...

that has got to be the worst way to end a season.

but i AM glad that the Bears get Seattle again :D (though it won't be like it was last time, I'd rather it be them)

you're right!
he should have concentrated on the task at hand--no doubt he was working over in his mind the celebration after the game winning FG! ooops.

still can't believe this guy is pro-bowl bound.

are you sure? because I heard Madden say that it was the ball they put into play and I also saw an interview with Romo and he indicated the same thing. That it was the ball the Cowboys put into play. I think it's true about normal offensive stuff, but I think they still use their own ball in the kicking game.

post2post 01-10-2007 09:47 AM

very true....the league does not allow the kicking balls to be used before the game....every team states they are very slick even when they are dry...

Detmer and Akers did Ok in the rain for the game winner...thats all that matters.. GO EAGLES
