After watching the second race I think it would be fair to suggest to trainers that this Bridgemohan clown should not be riding turf races. His ride in there was an exhibition of incompetence.

Blowing the turn was just the final coup de gras of stupidity and uselessness. Blowing the first turn when last and then making the big wide brush on the backstretch was pretty clever as well.

That horse will win next time with a professional rider.

Alysheba1988 01-02-2007 12:05 PM

Agreed!!

Don't we all...didn't happen for me either.

At this point, I'd just settle for my wife going back to work.

ArlJim78 01-02-2007 02:11 PM

UH OH!

An upsetter in the slop in a near track record time in the Calder seventh.

Our resident conspiracy theorist will surely be gearing up for a thorough investigation of this one.

Well actually maybe an investigation isn't necessary, let's just go ahead and assume someone is guilty.

That's Calder for you! Happens very often like this.

Kasept 01-02-2007 04:35 PM

Hit last 2.. $96 bet.. $73.50 won..

As they say about "The Hill" (Yonkers).. "It's where when you win.. You lose."

Now let me get this straight.... If you Lost the last two races you would
be out ...how much... ?.... Instead of winning the last two races....
LOL..... Reminds me of my cousin who bet
ALL< ALL<ALL in the pick three..and said.... "" I hit the pick three"" !!:p

This is literally one of those situations where you'd be happier losing $96 having had a shot at a reasonable payoff in the two 4's than losing the $22.50...
