on the Dan Patrick Show yesterday, Troy Smith admitted that Brady Quinn is the best college qb in the nation. You know it's true when this guy will come out and say it.

I think the only major flaw with Brady is that he is a bit of a slow reader.If he reads the field that slowly in the pro game,he will get run over,and hurt a lot.He is a decent mover,but if you can't get rid of the ball quicker,you'll be getting some injuries.

Obviously beating Army, Navy and Air Force not only didn't it get Quinn the Heisman. He didn't even get runnerup. The voters were heard and were more inpressed with a QB beating at least two top ten teams during the year. If im not mistaken both Michigan and Texas were in the top ten when Ohio State beat them.

You don't know football, Chris Leak is not a good QB, and most florida fans will even tell you this. Name one thing Leak does better than Brady Quinn. There is a reason BQ was hyped up, because he is DAMN GOOD!!! He broke pretty much every ND QB record there is. Quinn is 6'4, has great arm strength, is faily mobile, and most of all is very very very very very smart and has a lot of knowledge of the game of football. Brady Quinn is a gamer. Without Quinn, ND would have had probably 3 more losses this year.

Brady Quinn will be a great NFL QB, Chris Leak will do good at whatever career he has chosen out of football.

I think what Troy Smith was saying was that Brady Quinn is a better quarterback in the traditional sense. Probably better as a drop back, stay in the pocket type and maybe has a better sense of how to read defenses and such. But make no mistake about it. Troy Smith is the better football player. He's one of those guys that makes things happen. It's similar to Vince Young vs. Matt Leinart.

You people saying he will bust are completely biased. It all depends on the situation he gets put into. Trent dilfer won a super bowl, trent dilfer now. Brady quinn has a great deal of talent and with the right team he will be fine. Don't pronounce judgement until he gets a full year in.

I'm not defensive at all i just have people saying he has no chance is going to flop. Just because you don't like notre dame don't hate on the player. The kid has the most talent of any dropback qb in the country. Like i said, his situation will dictate if he succeeds.

I'm not saying vick is a bad qb but he cant throw short, never has, never will. All he can do is throw outs and go's. But hes hell on wheels to catch. Vince young is the same way. No I'm still a michigan fan, but i dont have a hometown team so iI'll root for anyone in our region as long as they arent playing michigan.

Its simple go back and watch those two games. What did he do... he went over the top almost every play. Deep down the field. And he promptly preceded to show it was an abberation that he cannot do consistently.

He can't do it consistently in part due to his recievers having butterfingers and his coach being a terrible play caller.

Regardless he's still overrated by the media and fans. He's got a smaller window of opportunity to succeed as a QB since he's mobile and the legs are the first to go with age. He's an acl away from being below average by NFL standards. And the way he plays the odds say he's due for a serious injury sooner than later.

That being said, i'm kind of liking the falcons chances this weekend against the cowboys.

All of this is irrelevant. Nobody sucks as bad as Chris Leak. And YES, I'm a Gator fan. :p

He'll be drafted by a team that thinks he has a shot to be the next Randle El. He's definitely not going to be a starting QB.
