I think the bias is still there at Aqu

The first was just completed and the winner did most of his running on the rail, the place horse did all of his running on the rail(while under siege the whole way), and the show horse sucked along behind on the rail.
Fact that the place horse was able to hold the place is scary, looked like he was gonna finish last on the turn and was under a hard hard drive at that point, "rerallied" and held the place.
I'm out, no way no how am I getting involved in this card yet. I think its the same **** on a different day.

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-08-2006 11:37 AM

dont think so..the 1 won off the lead..

blackthroatedwind 12-08-2006 11:43 AM

I would say it is inconclusive, but I tend to agree with Mike, and thought the rail definitely helped. The winner was steadied very hard on the backstretch and didn't angle wide until very late on the turn and it does seem as though the track held the second horse safe.

Now, I may need the bias to hold, as I am live in the double to the 1 and 5, and one of them should have the lead.

Hooves he did it off the lead but he was on the rail the whole way until he swung out. The 7 was under heavy artillery fire the whole way and still held the place. The rail still looks golden to me.
Most "speed" biases are really just rail biases.
I'll watch the next few, really love Crafty Cammack today and wanted to make a late pik-4 keying him as a single. But hes drawn outside and won't be right on the lead in all probablity.
I'm hoping its changed, but I think the rail is still golden. How did the 7 hold 2nd? I mean he was under hard drive on the turn and still held the place.
I hate those golden rail biases worse than anything, so I'm gonna watch and wait. Hoping you are correct as I love Cammack today amd wanna play the pik-4.

You deserve the medal of valor for being so brave as to bet the DD.
You deserve to win. Good luck!!!

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-08-2006 11:45 AM

good luck..

blackthroatedwind 12-08-2006 11:49 AM

Well, I thought the winner of the first could have been the speed and I clearly thought he was the best horse.

In the second I just tried to make the speed and bet against the silly odds on favorite. Smart Halory may win but I'll take my chances against and the 1 or 5 should be the speeds and they also both appear to have a smidgeon of upside.

I like the logic on the bet. I singled Halory one day when she ran 2nd and she was just too horrible for words. She could win as you know, but at 4-5 there isn't any way you do anything but pass the race or bet against her.

A mile in 1:44:2?

hoovesupsideyourhead 12-08-2006 12:07 PM

I sure don't think the other way yet!! Leaders banged heads good and still ran 3-4.
Tell you what I did hear, and wish we had someone on laptop at Big A. Durkin said as they hit he backside that they were running into a strong wind.
Headwind on the backside will stop speed. tailwind carries it home.
Be nice if its gone. But I stil need to see more before I play the late pik-4.

Seattleallstar 12-08-2006 12:21 PM

there are no biases, its just a buzzword created by alarmists like Oracle

More like turn off the online poker, you aint gonna win back that 11 grand you lost last week, and get your head out of your ass.

Northwest wind is a crosswind, they're running northeast up the backstretch...

oracle80 12-08-2006 12:30 PM

Huge rail skimmer in the third, rides the rail and takes off like a jet.
I have firmly concluded that the rail is still the place to be, and that closing is possible due to the winds.
Check out the fractions in the race, 23:2, 47:4, 1:14:1
Like the last race the opening 1/4 was ok because they weren't into the wind yet.
Must be ferocious wind to slow them down that badly on the backside, then they crawl home due to the energy expense into the wind.
Its playable, all that matters is that you can close.

thank you...I had no idea which way the track faces...shouldn't someone tell Durkin?:D

blackthroatedwind 12-08-2006 12:39 PM

I guess the rail is still strong but perhaps now that the pinheads have figured out about the track they are riding more aggressively and the leader isn't able to get quite as comfortable up front as days past. Plus, most of the horses that took advantage of the track this week were at least reasonably logical while today we have had two straight bad horses on the lead.

Coach Pants 12-08-2006 01:55 PM

Ohhhh son of a....

I had the 3 & 5 boxed for $5 and the 5 lugs like a champ to run third. Ohhhh sweet jesus.

blackthroatedwind 12-08-2006 02:01 PM

That was a tough beat.

I bet 5 grand on Magna Graduate (that's as high as I go). Better than laying 11/10 on a football game.

Yeah, I know it's red board but I'm finished putting anything of value up on here. I noticed 10 new members registered when the bowls went up (same thing last year). I'm not putting up our plays until 10 minutes to KO.

Played Cowboys -6 1/2 early and will play Panthers +3 late. It's really not that hard when you have talent.

Last time: If you can't find the number you're looking for, PASS........
No man living can beat the 11/10 laying or taking a square price.

They play the National Anthem EVERY day.

;)

PS: Actually it's not to hard to figure out when I've had a big day; I come on here and start pontificating:D

Boss-

If this were the case, you could have reason to pontificate EVERY day. The point is, Dixie International is so far above these no nothings that I dont see why you keep throwing your pearls to swine.

I can verify that the Boss did have 5k on Magna Graduate. On BC day he had 5k on Invasor, Street Sense, Thors Echo and Miesques Approval.

As for the bowl play at DI, we are steady working on them right now. I will give you a clue though...we bet LARGE on the team named after the condom.

Figure it out.

How dare you mock the boss! How dare you mock the greatest gambling mind of the 20th and 21st centuries!

We are use to it here at DI though. Everyone is jealous. Are you jealous Hoss? Dont you wish you could be a WINNER? Dont you wish you could rub elbows with the stars? Dont you wish you could flash the cash and have a way with the LADIES like Dixie?

Come see me if you want a job.
